Syntek runs its own ABS production line, mold production line, flip chip machine, copper wire production line and silk screen production line at the Chengbei Industrial Park facility in Huaihua, Hunan. That matters commercially rather than technically: coil winding, chip bonding, molding and printing all sit under one roof, so a housing revision or an encoding change does not have to travel through a subcontractor's queue. It is also why the same factory can quote a 40 × 32 mm standard ABS shell and a bespoke mold from the same enquiry.

Housing choice follows the environment the fob lives in. ABS is the default for access control tag volumes and takes silkscreen and offset printing cleanly. PU leather over an ABS core, as used on our NTAG216 RFID key chain, targets hotel and premium membership programmes. Epoxy resin leaves the coil visible and is common on key ring label tags. Wooden, silicone and metal housings are available for brand-led projects. Sizes in the current range run from the 40 × 32 mm flat format up to the thicker 53 × 26 × 18 mm TK4100 keyfob, which gives a firmer grip on large keyrings.

How this category differs from our other RFID product lines

A keyfob is the right format when the credential travels on a keyring and must survive daily mechanical abuse. Sampling, Lead Time and Payment Terms for Bulk Key Fob Orders

 

Quotations are returned within 24 hours of receiving your specification — model or application, quantity, colours, logo artwork, chip type, encoding requirements and packaging. Samples of standard in-stock models are free; you cover DHL or FedEx freight, typically 3 to 5 days in transit. Customised samples carry a setup fee covering tooling, programming and printing, and part of that fee is commonly credited against your first bulk order.

 

Standard production lead time is 7 to 15 working days excluding holidays: 7 to 10 days for small to medium runs on standard designs, and 12 to 15 days where a new mold or special process is involved. Five production lines support a daily capacity in the hundreds of thousands of units, which is the reason expedited scheduling is possible on time-critical projects — ask before you place the order, not after. Before dispatch, QC performs at least three full inspections covering frequency, read range, data integrity and appearance.

 

New accounts are opened on 30% deposit with the 70% balance settled before shipment; deposits of 30 to 50% apply depending on the project. Payment is accepted by T/T in USD, EUR and other major currencies, by PayPal for samples and smaller orders, and by Western Union, Alipay or WeChat Pay where those suit your finance team. Shipping runs through DHL, FedEx or UPS with 3 to 7 day worldwide transit and tracking, or by sea and air freight for larger volumes — including free delivery to your nominated forwarder's warehouse in China.

Which chip should I specify for my access control system?

Match the chip to the reader, not to the housing. Systems running at 125KHz normally read TK4100 for fixed ID numbers or T5577 and EM4305 where credentials are re-written in the field; 13.56MHz systems use MIFARE Classic 1K, NTAG213 or NTAG216. Send the reader or controller model with your enquiry and Syntek confirms the compatible chip before quoting.

What is the production lead time for a custom order?

Standard lead time is 7 to 15 working days after payment, excluding holidays. Small to medium quantities in existing housings ship in 7 to 10 days; projects requiring a new mold or special process take 12 to 15 days. Expedited scheduling can be arranged across our five production lines when the deadline is confirmed at order stage.

Are samples free, and what does a custom sample cost?

Samples of standard models held in stock are free of charge; you pay only DHL or FedEx freight, usually 3 to 5 days in transit. Customised samples with your logo, chip, colour or shape carry a setup fee covering tooling, programming and printing. That fee is lower than bulk-equivalent pricing and part of it is generally deducted from your first production order.

Who owns the mold if Syntek develops a new fob shape for us?

 

The mold belongs to the customer. New tooling is cut to a stated precision of ±0.02 mm, and the resulting shape is produced for your account. Many buyers begin with logo printing on a standard housing and move to dedicated tooling once annual volume justifies it.

 

How closely will production match my approved artwork?

 

Syntek works to a colour difference of ΔE<1 between the approved sample and the production run, using silkscreen, offset, laser engraving or UV printing depending on the housing. Artwork is accepted in AI, CDR or PDF and reviewed free of charge, and mock-ups are issued for written approval before production begins.

 

What payment terms and shipping options apply to bulk orders?
